CGPSC Exam 2024 Syllabus based and Chapterwise Study Notes available

The Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) is likely to conduct the civil service mains examination tentatively between June 13-16, 2024. The commission has released the official press release.

The CGPSC preliminary examination was conducted on February 11, 2024 and the candidates who attempted the examination are waiting for the results.

CGPSC Selection Process

The selection process for the CGPSC will be done in three stages. The details of the exam process are given below:

CGPSC Prelims Exam

The very first phase of the recruitment process is the preliminary round. The 400 mark CGPSC preliminary exam consists of two different papers, i.e., papers 1 and 2, with 200 marks each. A selection list for the main (written) examination shall be prepared on the basis of the total marks obtained in Paper 1.

CGPSC Mains Exam

Those applicants who clear the preliminary exam take the main exam. The Written Examination will consist of seven papers, which will total of 1400 marks

CGPSC Prelims & Main Exams Question Papers and Answer Key

CGPSC Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The CGPSC is a two-tier-based examination and candidates have to clear the Prelims as well as the Mains examination for the final selection. Overall, there will be 150 questions for 1 mark each in Prelims and occupy candidates for 2 hours. Whereas, the main exam is based on a written test and is also called a subjective Type examination.
