Indian Maritime University will soon release the IMU CET 2023 application form at imu.edu.in. The exam authority will als release the IMU CET notification PDF along with the application form. Applicants will be able to apply for IMU CET 2023 as per the schedule released by the authorities. The application process of IMU CET 2023 comprises registration, filling application form, uploading documents and payment of fee. To appear for the exam, candidates will be required to fill the application form of IMU CET before the last date.
Candidates are advised to check the IMU CET 2023 eligibility criteria before filling the application form. For the BTech program, applicants must have scored 60% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 10+2 and 50% marks in English also. For MTech courses, applicants must have 50% marks in 10/10+2/UG degree (5% relaxation for SC & ST candidates).
Candidates appearing for the exam must refer to the IMU CET 2023 syllabus and exam pattern for their preparations. Candidates can also go through the IMU CET sample paper to check the important topics & chapters asked in the exam previously. IMU CET 2023 for BTech comprises 150 questions from physics, chemistry, mathematics, English, and also general aptitude. The syllabus is based on the 10+2 level.

After the conclusion of the exam, the exam authority will release the IMU CET 2023 result at the official website. Applicants qualified on the basis of IMU CET results will be called for the counselling process later. The authorities will conduct IMU CET counselling only for admission to its six campuses. Candidates willing to get admissions in affiliated institutes of IMU / other DGS approved Marine Training Institutes (MTIs) may directly approach the college / institutes of their choice after obtaining rank certificate.

IMU CET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
Indian Maritime University will release the IMU CET eligibility criteria along with the official notification. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria of IMU CET before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria comprises age limit, academic qualification and medical fitness specifications. It is mandatory for each applicant to meet every condition laid down by the concerned authorities. Any candidate who fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria will be disqualified from the admission process later.

Medical Fitness |
B.Tech Marine Engineering All candidates applying to this programme need to clear fitness as mandated by DG Shipping Guidelines. A medical certificate issued by doctors who are approved by the Director General of Shipping has to be produced by the candidates applying for Marine Engineering. B.Tech Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering (and also B.Sc Ship Building & Repair) Physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner has to be submitted. |

Eye Sight |
B.Tech Marine Engineering (and also DNS courses leading to B.Sc Applied Nautical Science, B.Sc Nautical Science, B.Sc Maritime Science) Candidates mustn’t have any degree of squint or any morbid eye (or eyelid) condition. The candidate must have good binocular vision, the movement of the balls should be full in all directions, while the pupils should react normally to light and accommodation. Distance vision (unaided 0.5 (6/12) in each eye or 0.67 (6/9) in better eye and 0.33 (6/18) in another eye. Normal colour vision shall be tested by the Ishihara test chart. |

IMU CET B.Tech Application Details
Candidates will be able to fill the IMU CET 2023 application form from the official website. The application form of IMU CET 2023 will be released in online mode. Before filling out the application form, students are advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. The steps to fill IMU CET application form 2023 are as follows.
