MHTCET Exam 2023
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test, popularly known as MHT CET, is the entrance exam conducted to shortlist candidates for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy courses in various colleges in Maharashtra. The exam is conducted every year by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell. There are more than 400 institutes in Maharashtra which accept MHT CET scores for admission to their various Engineering and Pharmacy courses. Candidates belonging to Maharashtra as well as from the other states of India can apply for the MHT CET exam.
"The Maharashtra State Government has drafted new rules for admission to BTech and other professional degree courses from the academic session 2023-24. As per the report, beginning in 2023, class 12 marks will also be considered for admission to BTech and other courses along with MHT CET scores. The weightage of class 12 and CET marks will be equal."

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released the MHT CET 2022 (PCM & PCB Group) hall ticket today, August 27, 2022.

As per the official notice released on mahacet.org, the question paper, candidates response and correct answer key will be released on September 1, 2022. The submission of candidates grievances/ objections regarding questions, if any through candidate login will be done from September 2 to September 4, 2022. The result declaration will be on or before September 15, 2022.
MHT CET 2022 for PCM group was conducted from August 5 to 11, 2022 and for PCB group, the exam was conducted between August 12 and 20, 2022.The re-examination was conducted on August 29, 2022 at designated centres.
The result and answer key can be checked by candidates on the official site of MAHACET on mahacet.org. Candidates can check for more related details through the official site of MAHACET.
MHT CET 2022 exam had three papers, Paper 1 of Mathematics, Paper 2 of Physics and Chemistry combined and Paper 3 of Biology. Candidates applying for Engineering courses (PCM Group) had to appear in Paper 1 and 2 while those applying for Pharmacy courses (PCB Group) had to appear in Paper 2 and 3. The choice of paper (PCB or PCM) had to be made at the time of filling the application form.
The difficulty level of the MHT CET 2022 was similar to JEE Main exam. MHT CET 2022 syllabus pdf has been released by the CET Cell and consists of classes 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology topics with 20% weightage to class 11 topics while 80% weightage is for class 12 topics. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released MHT CET 2022 Result date. The result for Maharashtra Common Entrance Test result will be announced on or before September 15, 2022. The answer key for MHT CET will be released on September 1, 2022.
