Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has declared Final Result for the posts of Civil Judge (Jr Division) of Advt No 12/2018. Interview was held on 15 to 19-12-2019, 02 to 09-01-2020 and 16 to 20-12-2019, 03 to 10-01-2020.
On 25 Nov. 2019 Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the result of Civil Judge Mains Exam 2019. Candidates applied for JPSC Civil Judge Mains 2019 Exam can download their result through the official website of JPSC.i.e.jpsc.gov.in.
Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has released the Civil Judge 2019 Exam Date and schedule for submission of application form for Mains Civil Judge (Junior Division) exam. All candidates who have qualified the Preliminary exam of Civil Judge (Junior Division) exam can appear in the Jharkhand PSC Judge Main exam.
JPSC will conduct the Civil Judge (Junior Division) Main exam on September 13 and 14, 2019.
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has declared the result for the preliminary exam conducted to hire at the post of civil judge in the junior division at its official website, jpsc.gov.in. The exam was conducted on May 27, 2019. The preliminary round is only qualifying in nature.
A total of 107 vacancies were advertised for this post.
Those who have cleared the exam will appear for the Mains test which will consist of four papers of 100 marks each. The mains exam will be of three hours duration. Candidates selected thereafter will be shortlisted for interview round of 100 marks.
To clear the interview round one needs to score 25 per cent marks for reserved category candidates the minimum marks required are 20 per cent. The final list will consist of marks obtained in Mains and interview.

Jharkhand Civil Judge (Junior Division) Preliminary Exam
Preliminary Entrance Test means Written Examination (Multiple Choice Questions/Objective Type) only and the candidates declared successful in this test shall be eligible for the Main Examination.
Jharkhand Judicial service as are following Preliminary exam will carry maximum 100 marks.
Negative marking or minus will not applicable in this examination.
Total 2 hour time duration will be given for attempting the question paper in pre examination.
The Syllabus for the Preliminary Entrance Test shall consist of :
(i) General English
(ii) General Knowledge (including Current Affairs)
(iii) The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908.
(iv) The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973.
(v) The Indian Evidence Act, 1872.
(vi) The Law of Contract, 1872.
(vii) The Indian Penal Code, 1860.
Jharkhand Judicial Service Civil Judge (Junior Division) Main examination
Main Examination means Written Examination (Subjective) and the candidates declared successful in this Test shall be eligible for Viva-Voce Test.
Main examination will comprise four question paper.
Each question paper will carry 100 marks.
Duration of Main Examination shall be of three hours for each paper.

(ii) The Sales of Goods Act, 1930
(iii) The Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881
(iv) The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996
(v) The Transfer of Property Act, 1882
Paper - III
(i) The Hindu Law and The Mohammedan Law
(ii) Rent Control Law.
(iii) The Specific Relief Act, 1963

Paper IV (Language)
Hindi & English (Essay, Precise writing, Translation & Paraphrase) 10.
Viva-Voce Test means an Oral Examination.
There shall be Viva-Voce Test of 100 marks. In the Viva-Voce Test the minimum required qualifying marks would be 25% for the General category candidates and 20% for SC/ST/EBC & BC.
No candidates, irrespective of the marks obtained by him in the Main Examination, shall be eligible for selection for appointment, if he obtains less than minimum prescribed marks in the Viva-Voce Test.
The final selection list shall be prepared on the basis of the marks obtained in the Main Examination and the Viva-Voce Test both.
In case of tie of marks between the candidates in the final selection list,their selection will be made firstly on the basis of qualification, i.e., person having Post Graduate Degree in Law shall be given preference and thereafter on the basis of experience, if any, in legal practice and still if necessary, on the basis of seniority in age.
