Meghalaya Public Service Commission (PSC) is the one of the civil service jobs created by the Constitution of India at state level. The main purpose of establishment of the Meghalaya PSC is to hire best and eligible candidates for civil services and government jobs in Meghalaya based on their performance and merits of the applicants and announced for recruitment ofAssistant System Engineer, Judicial Magistrate grade and Junior Engineer Grade Jobs in the Meghalaya.

Examination Pattern and details
The Meghalaya PSC competitive examination comprise three successive stages viz :
(1) Preliminary Examination (Objective Type & Multiple choice)
(2) Main Examination (Objective / Conventional Type)
(3) Interview (Personality Test)
MPSC Meghalaya Prelims Exam Pattern 2022
MPSC Meghalaya Prelims exam comprises two compulsory papers carrying 200 marks each. Both the papers in the Prelims Exam are objective-type (Multiple Choice Questions). The papers are as follows:
- Paper-I: General Studies
- Paper-II: English, Aptitude & Mental Ability
The Paper-II of the MPSC Meghalaya Prelims exam will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks. The marks obtained by the candidate in the Prelims will not be counted in the final marks that will be calculated for the final rank of the candidate.

MPSC Meghalaya Mains Exam Pattern
MPSC Meghalaya Mains exam comprises a written exam and an interview/personality test. The Mains exam is a traditional essay-style descriptive exam with 6 compulsory papers and one optional subject of two papers.
- The first paper is an English paper worth 300 marks which is just a practice test. The marks obtained in this paper will not be counted for ranking.
- The marks obtained by the candidates in Paper I-VII only will be counted for merit
- ranking.
- The mains exam carries 1750 marks in total.
- Each paper will be of three hours duration.
- There will be no negative marking in the MPSC Meghalaya Mains exam.

The candidates who will clear the MPSC Meghalaya Mains exam will be called for the Interview/Personality test. The interview carries 275 marks. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the Mains exam (Written Exam + Interview).
