The Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) is a state-level eligibility test conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The exam is conducted for candidates who aspire to become teachers in government schools of Rajasthan.

The exam is conducted in two levels- Level 1 and Level 2. Level 1 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 5, and Level 2 is for candidates who wish to teach classes 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 8 must appear for both Level 1 and Level 2 exams.

The exam consists of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and is conducted offline. The exam pattern and syllabus for REET are prescribed by the RBSE, and candidates must prepare accordingly.

Candidates who qualify for the exam are issued a certificate that remains valid for a period of 3 years. The certificate allows candidates to apply for teaching positions in government schools in Rajasthan.
