Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the HSSC TGT positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject.
• Two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
• Qualified in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) for the concerned subject.
• Language Proficiency:
• Hindi or Sanskrit as a subject in Matriculation or higher education.
• Age Limit:
• Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 42 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Haryana government norms.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process for HSSC TGT recruitment comprises two stages:

1. Written Examination:
• Accounts for 95% of the total selection criteria.
• The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, each carrying 0.95 marks.
• Subjects include General Awareness, Reasoning, Mathematics, Science, English, Hindi, and relevant subject-specific knowledge.
• No negative marking for incorrect answers; however, 0.95 marks are deducted for each unattempted question.

2. Socio-Economic Criteria and Experience:
• Accounts for 5% of the total selection criteria.
• Marks are awarded based on socio-economic factors and relevant teaching experience.

Exam Pattern:
The written examination is structured as follows:

• Total Marks: 95
• Total Questions: 100 multiple-choice questions
• Duration: 105 minutes
• Marking Scheme:
• Each correct answer awards 0.95 marks.
• No negative marking for incorrect answers.
• 0.95 marks deducted for each unattempted question.
