Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the HPSC PGT positions, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Educational Qualifications:
• Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks from a recognized university.
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or equivalent qualification.
• Matriculation with Hindi/Sanskrit or 10+2/B.A/M.A with Hindi as one of the subjects.
• Qualified in the Haryana Teacher Eligibility Test (HTET) or School Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) for the concerned subject.
• Age Limit:
• Minimum age of 18 years and maximum age of 42 years.
• Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories as per Haryana government norms.

Selection Procedure:
The selection process for HPSC PGT recruitment comprises three stages:

1. Screening Test:
• Objective-type questions.
• Accounts for 25% of the total marks.
• Duration: 2 hours.
• Total Questions: 100.
2. Subject Knowledge Test:
• Descriptive-type questions focusing on subject-specific knowledge.
• Accounts for 87.5% of the total marks.
• Duration: 3 hours.
• Total Marks: 150.
3. Interview:
• Accounts for 12.5% of the total marks.

Exam Pattern:
The examination pattern for HPSC PGT recruitment is as follows:

• 100 objective-type questions.
• Each question carries equal marks.
• Duration: 2 hours.
• Subject Knowledge Test:
• Descriptive-type questions.
• Total Marks: 150.
• Duration: 3 hours.
• Interview:
• Total Marks: 12.5% of the overall selection criteria.
