IIT JEE Exam Best Study Materials and Notes available for Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics
IIT JEE (Indian Institutes of Technology Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to undergraduate engineering courses (B.Tech/BS) in various Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), and other engineering colleges in India. IIT JEE is considered one of the most challenging engineering entrance exams globally, and the questions are based on the syllabus of class 11 and 12 of the CBSE board. The exam is conducted in two stages - JEE Main and JEE Advanced. JEE Main is conducted twice a year in online mode, whereas JEE Advanced is conducted once a year in offline mode. JEE Main consists of 90 multiple choice questions (MCQs), and candidates have 3 hours to complete the test. The questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and there is negative marking for incorrect answers. JEE Advanced consists of two papers, each of 3 hours, and each paper consists of 54 multiple choice questions (MCQs) and numerical-based questions. The questions are based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and there is negative marking for incorrect answers. To prepare for the IIT JEE exam, candidates should start by understanding the syllabus and exam pattern. They should then create a study plan and devote sufficient time to each subject. Candidates should also practice previous years' question papers and take mock tests to assess their preparation and identify areas of improvement. Apart from this, candidates should also focus on their time management skills, attempt the questions in the correct sequence, avoid guesswork, and read the questions carefully before answering. They should also stay updated with the latest developments in science and technology and regularly read newspapers and science magazines. Overall, IIT JEE is a highly competitive exam, and candidates need to work hard and stay focused to crack it. Candidates can also take coaching from reputed coaching institutes or refer to study materials provided by them.
Selection procedure for IIT JEE All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) Exam PatternJEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a two tier examination (Main & Advanced) regulated by CBSE Board. Candidates can get admissions in B.Tech/B.Arch programmes offered by NITs, IIITs and other engineering institutions through JEE Main exam while IITs offer these courses through JEE Advanced exam. JEE Main exam is also considered as a qualifying exam to appear JEE Advanced exam. There will be two question papers in the IIT JEE Exam, each of three hours duration. Both the question papers will consist of three separate sections on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions will be of objective type, designed to test comprehension, reasoning and analytical ability of candidates. The answers for each of the questions are to be marked on a separate, specially designed, machine-gradable sheet of paper (ORS – Optical Response Sheet). While answering each of the questions the candidate is expected to darken the bubble(s) against correct answer(s) using black ball point pen only.
